In 1921 David Moore McCall and his brother James opened McCall Bros funeral home in downtown Victoria. The second generation of the family Graham and Torrey set McCall’s apart from the old style of funeral service by opening a modern and award-winning facility. The third generation was lead by David Alexander McCall grew to be more of the most forward thinking funeral homes in western Canada.

In 2021 McCall Gardens is recognising and celebrating 100 years of providing caring and compassionate service under the leadership of Trevor McCall, the fourth generation. Their story, the legacy display will be 3.5’ x 13’ and installed near the sanctuary at their modern facility in Saanich. Family and business stories have been collected and edited, images have been gathered and sorted. Layout of the display is complete and the sign fabrication stage is about to begin.
